San Francisco International Manual Medicine Society
The San Francisco International Manual Medicine Society (SFIMMS) is an association of physicians and health professionals founded (by partners Gilliar, Friedman & Glassman) in 1995 to establish high educational standards and practice excellence in the field of manual medicine.

Fostering High Quality Educational Programs
The SFIMMS facilitates the acquisition of palpatory skills and clinical problem-solving approaches using a low student-teacher ratio, in a direct, hands-on format.

Optimizing Clinical Management and Practice Skills
The SFIMMS is involved in developing relevant practice guidelines that enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.

Establishing Networks
The SFIMMS provides leadership in the exchange of information and data collection by establishing networks of professionals with similar purpose and interests.

Membership Benefits
As a result of participating in any of the SFIMMS courses, you will automatically become a SFIMMS member. Members receive special invitations to Society events featuring experts in the field. Members will also have the opportunity to participate in research networks in order to establish outcome data in manual medicine.

Continuing Education Credit
Continuing medical education credits are available for SFIMMS courses and other activities commensurate with the number of hours spent in actual course time.

If you have any questions or would like additional information about SFIMMS or Manual Medicine, please email us (admin@sfimms.com).
